I started ForeSight Consulting,
LLC, in January 2004, because I thought the marketplace had
a need that wasn’t being met—a firm that was
totally committed to the success of its clients and their
projects. I’m happy to say we’re now meeting
that need.
Yes, we’re still a young company. But that doesn’t
mean we’re short on experience. In just four years,
we’ve completed more than 300 jobs and built a solid
reputation for our high-quality work and integrity.
We’re also a young company that’s led by
young professionals who have fresh ideas and the boundless
energy to implement those ideas.
It’s no coincidence that we’ve chosen Auguste
Rodin’s sculpture “The Thinker” as our
corporate image because we give thoughtful attention to
every detail to ensure the success of our clients, their
projects, and the project team.

TODD
R. BAUER, PE, PLS
Principal
tbauer@foresight-consulting.biz
Todd, the founder and principal of Foresight Consulting, LLC, has nearly 20 years of experience in civil engineering, land surveying, and land development.
Prior to establishing ForeSight in 2004,
Todd worked for a regional consulting engineering firm
in Indianapolis and then served as a principal for a Fort
Wayne-area engineering and land-surveying firm.
Over the course of his career, Todd
has been involved in engineering and land-surveying projects
leading to the building of facilities for educational,
medical, institutional, correctional, residential, and
commercial uses. The construction value of those projects
ranges from $5,000 to $50 million.
Todd earned a bachelor’s degree
in civil engineering technology from Purdue University
in 1990. He’s a registered professional engineer
in Indiana, Ohio, and 10 additional states, as well as
a registered professional land surveyor in Indiana and
Kentucky.
Although responsible for ForeSight’s leadership, growth, and business
development, Todd continues to be closely involved with the firm’s
projects and clients on a daily basis.
“I truly enjoy the opportunity
to work with our clients on their projects from beginning

desire that ForeSight Consulting, LLC, can become an
integral part of the design team that enables clients
to reach their goals in a seamless and efficient manner,
creating a rewarding experience for everyone involved
with the project.” |

CHRISTOPHER P. LEWARK
Civil Designer
clewark@foresight-consulting.biz
Chris joined ForeSight as civil designer in February 2007, complementing the firm's civil-engineering and land-surveying services. His previous engineering and surveying experience with firms in Evansville and Fort Wayne has prepared him well for the broad diversity of tasks and challenges that may arise over the course of a project.
Chris graduated from Purdue University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in construction-engineering technology. He's passed the Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) examination and currently plans to take the Principles and Practice of Land Surveying (PLS) exam in the spring of 2008.

ANDREW J.
BEARMAN
Civil Designer
abearman@foresight-consulting.biz
Andy graduated with honors from Purdue University with a
bachelor’s
degree in civil engineering technology in 2005, but his engineering
career actually began as he was working his way through college.
While still a student, Andy gained valuable surveying experience
in topographic, boundary, and construction staking that has
proven incredibly useful in providing construction documents
that clearly show the intent of the design.
After joining ForeSight, Andy quickly
began taking the lead on designs and representation with
clients and contractors and has been
involved in academic, institutional,
municipal, commercial, and residential projects ranging from $500,000 to
$20 million.
Andy has always enjoyed civil engineering,
site planning, hydrology, and the challenge of integrating
all aspects of a site design. Andy believes
that the
ultimate reward when working with a client is seeing the finished design
being built, and that drives him to provide immediate and complete construction-administration
service throughout the entire construction process.
“Our goal is to have as few complications during construction as possible,
and that requires additional attention to detail during design,” Andy says. “When
all the options of each aspect of design are investigated, all opportunities
for failure, hidden costs, and the most cost-effective approaches are discovered.
Many delays in construction can be avoided through appropriate communication—early
and often. I take a great deal of pride in ensuring that no surprises occur
because of a lack of initiative during the various approval processes.” |

for residential subdivisions, residential apartment complexes,
industrial and warehouse facilities, commercial developments,
and educational facilities.
Chris is currently
working with
several entities on a variety of projects, including apartment
complexes, multiple
new educational
buildings at Indiana Wesleyan University, and various commercial
developments throughout the Fort Wayne area.
Chris earned a bachelor’s degree
in civil engineering at Purdue University in 2001. |

BRYAN
J. CLEVENGER, ASLA
Landscape Architect
bclevenger@foresight-consulting.biz
Bryan is a graduate of Purdue University with a
degree in landscape architecture. After college, Bryan worked
for a local architecture firm for three years before starting
his own landscape-architecture firm.
Bryan’s résumé includes
site and landscape design for educational facilities, correctional
facilities, and commercial and residential developments,
as well as design and construction of residential landscapes.
Bryan’s lends his talents to every phase of a project, from the initial
stages of design through construction. He’s involved with conceptual
site planning, including building placement, pedestrian and vehicular circulation-pattern
analysis, and open-space management.
When a project moves beyond the conceptual
stage, Bryan has the ability to ensure that the final landscape
design falls within the requirements
of local
ordinances,
select appropriate site amenities, design and develop playground areas,
and provide a complete set of construction documents for property landscaping. |

DAVID M. SHEETS, EI
dsheets@foresight-consulting.biz
David came on board in 2007, right after he graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam during his senior year.
David’s résumé includes a stint as a union carpenter before he completed his degree. Construction—management, scheduling, cost analysis, equipment allocation, and other aspects—is his area of concentration. “As a carpenter, I gained significant hands-on experience in the building trade, as well as a greater understanding of both construction and design,” David says.
A member of the U.S. Green Building Council, David plans to take the USGBC‘s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accreditation Exam in the near future. His senior project at Purdue was to design a LEED-certified building and site layout. |
