John H. Stephens, a well-known Wabash-area land surveyor for more than 30 years, recently increased his offerings by forging an alliance with Fort Wayne-based ForeSight Consulting.
"It's been my great pleasure to serve the Wabash area over the last three decades," says Stephens, a former surveyor for Wabash County. "I'm very proud to call Wabash my home. My wife, Cindy, and I both grew up here, and we've raised our boys John O. and Matthew here as well.
"To better serve Wabash and its surrounding communities, I've joined forces with ForeSight Consulting,"" Stephens continues. "Through this alliance, I have the benefit of ForeSight's very talented staff and high-tech surveying capabilities as I strive to grow my business. More importantly, though, I was attracted to a partnership with ForeSight because of its solid reputation as a firm that embraces old-fashioned business ethics and that provides unsurpassed customer service. Those are values that the folks at ForeSight and I share."
ForeSight Consulting is a leading engineering firm offering a full range of civil-engineering, land-surveying, land-development, and landscape-architecture services to clients in Indiana and surrounding states. ForeSight has been instrumental in the development of facilities for medical, institutional, correctional, residential, and commercial uses.
"ForeSight has developed highly productive relationships with attorneys, title companies, survey reviewers, developers, architects, and various governmental agencies," Stephens adds. "It's those relationships that enable ForeSight to respond quickly and efficiently to the needs of its clients, public, private, and institutional."
A graduate of Purdue University, Stephens has been a registered land surveyor since 1981. During his career as a land-surveying professional, Stephens has personally conducted and supervised thousands of projects, including ALTA surveys, route surveys, subdivision design, construction layout, and drainage design. The scope of those projects has ranged from residential lot surveys to multimillion-dollar commercial real estate surveys.
Stephens is currently a member of the Indiana State Board of Registration for Land Surveyors, and is a past director and president of the Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors, a past president of the County Surveyors Association, and a member of the National Society of Professional Land Surveyors.
John H. Stephens and ForeSight offer a complete line of land-surveying services to meet the needs of a widest range of clients: topographic, utility, boundary, ALTA land title surveys, residential subdivision, commercial subdivision, construction services, as-builts, and consultation.
ForeSight's high-tech surveying tools include the Robotic Total Station, Global Positioning System, Virtual Reference Station, and AutoCAD Land Desktop. This technology enables John H. Stephens and ForeSight to meet new survey standards and produce consistent, replicable data in all their land-surveying services.
"I truly feel that my association with ForeSight will only serve to enhance the quality services I've been providing," Stephens says. "I think clients now and in the future will benefit from this winning combination."
