PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Stellhorn Pointe Apartment Complex is an excellent example of the skills and abilities of the site-design staff of ForeSight Consulting.

The site included the development of 10 apartment buildings and four commercial lots on 14 acres at the southeast corner of Stellhorn and Lahmeyer roads in Fort Wayne. Foresight was contracted to complete the project site design and project permitting process from another civil-engineering design firm midstream of the final construction documents. ForeSight worked closely with the RealAmerica Development, LLC, to identify possible design errors and to ensure that critical design issues had been met before coordinating final plan approvals through multiple governing agencies. The developer’s timeline for project approvals was extremely tight due to previous delays on the project, and ForeSight was able to exceed the developer’s expectations throughout the approval process by identifying key issues and securing the necessary permits to begin site construction in early spring of 2006.

As a result of these efforts, ForeSight earned the trust and respect of RealAmerica Development, and the two entities continue to enjoy a healthy relationship.
