PROJECT
DESCRIPTION
Coventry Meadows Retirement Community is the second project
the staff of ForeSight Consulting, LLC, has performed for
Turtle Creek Management, Inc., in the Fort Wayne area.
ForeSight’s initial involvement with the project
began with assisting Turtle Creek Management with site-selection
activities on various locations in southwest Fort Wayne.
After a thorough review of the subject sites, ForeSight recommended
the 28-acre site located along West Jefferson Boulevard as
the best location for the proposed development.
ForeSight’s involvement continued with the preparation
of the primary development plan for approximately 20 acres
of the campus that included a nursing home, extended-care
apartments, and garden homes and provided a variety of transitional
care opportunities on the Coventry Meadows campus. The primary
development plan process was complicated with development
issues focusing on site access and traffic distribution,
utility infrastructure, and storm-water drainage.
In early summer of 2005, ForeSight began design of Phase
One of the Coventry Meadows campus, an 80,000-square-foot
nursing home on the northwestern portion of the site. The
complicated design was completed in early August, and approval
of the first phase was acquired shortly thereafter. ForeSight
immediately moved into the design of the second phase of
the project, the extended-care apartments and garden homes,
in late summer and received approval on this portion of the
campus development early in the fall of 2005.
ForeSight is extremely proud of its continuing relationship
with Turtle Creek Management and the cooperative efforts
exhibited on this project. As a result of ForeSight’s
understanding of the client’s needs, goals, and objectives,
the firm was able to tailor its design services and delivery
timeline to meet these goals and facilitate construction
while maintaining an aggressive construction schedule. |
